Each topic has information linked to it. Use the link to expand your search by searching for:

  • points of view
  • statistics
  • news

Make a KWL Chart to organize your thoughts

Write a researching remember  to consider:

  • How you will take a stance
  • Examine two-sides of an argument 
  • Use facts, not opinions
  • What have you learned from your research?
  • How can you strengthen your argument based off your research?
  • How can you add facts/evidence to support your argument?
  • How is your paper more interesting and relevant because of the information you have found?

Your paper must consist of:

  • An introductory paragraph
  • Body paragraphs
  • A conclusion paragraph
  • A bibliography page
  • Select a Topic from the list below (or select and get your topic approved by the teacher)
  • Research your topic
  • Write a Persuasive Paper convincing the reader to
    • take your stance
    • or at least see your side of the argument 
  • Your paper must consist of:
    • An introductory paragraph
    • Body paragraphs
    • A conclusion paragraph
    • A bibliography page
