Professional Development: Schoology Mini-Workshops: Adding Materials to a Course

Your Materials are the backbone of your course. Schoology offers a diverse set of materials designed to engage students on all levels. You can tailor folders, assignments, and quizzes to fit specific needs within each class and individualize assignments for differentiation. You can also pace students individually using the Student Completion feature using the Options drop down bar.

Adding Materials to a course:

1. Click the Courses drop-down menu in the top menu and select the course to which you're adding materials.
2. Organizing your materials into Folders helps students stay organized within your course. 
3. Click the Add Materials button and choose the content type. Follow the links to learn more about how to create and use specific types of course materials.
